About Dalch Wellness

Dalch Wellness helps busy people balance nutrition, fitness and lifestyle goals with hectic lives through a practical, “whole life” approach to health.

About Lara Dalch

I’m a no nonsense gal.  I spent 15 years working as an ad sales marketing and promotions executive in New York City…and loved every minute of it.  (Ask my friends…I’m still a master negotiator.)  I’ve also been interested in nutrition and fitness for as long as I can remember; so I found ways to bring more balance and stress relief into my insanely busy schedule.

Now that I run my own business, the same rules apply – little things that I can do almost every day to make myself happier and healthier without compromising my love of good food and my ability to cram as much into a day as possible.

It’s not as tough as it sounds, I promise.

More about me

What I am…

  • A “no-nonsense, don’t have time to mess around with hocus-pocus “wellness diets”, “make healthy living fit into my life without a lot of hassle” crusader.
  • A former Starbucks junkie.
  • A lover of cupcakes; cookies; cheese; wine; pancakes; deep, dark chocolate; coffee; ice cream; homemade pasta; knock-your-socks-off mind-blowing fancy chef-prepared food and knock-your-socks-off mind-blowing hole-in-the-wall street food. {food. i like food. period.}
  • A fan of green smoothies, quinoa, amaranth, kale, apples, blueberries, oatmeal, green tea, Larabars, and adzuki beans.
  • An explorer and a seeker {not like in Harry Potter, although that’s what I’d be if Quidditch was a real sport…the Seeker}.
  • A runner with two half marathons under my belt and more to come.
  • A lifelong athlete – swimming, biking, running, skiing, tennis, horseback riding, basketball, field hockey – you name it, I’ve played it and/or competed in it.
  • A cheerleader for balance…both literally and figuratively.
  • A Pilates believer.
  • A fiercely practical and analytical person who also believes in The Law of Attraction,  soul connections, and, occasionally, in horoscopes.

…and what I’m not.

  • A dieter.
  • A “don’t eat that, it’s bad for you” deprivation slave driver.
  • A “woo woo Ayurveda, yoga, and green smoothies will SAVE you!”, completely-out-there sort of gal.

And now for my “bio”:
